(I’ve italicised the new information I’ve added)

On the Theology notice board I saw an ad for 4 doctoral fellows at the Domincan Biblical Institute, associated with St. Mary’s College, University of Limerick (Ireland). The fellowship provided a €15,000 stipend/year and a tuition waver. The topics were virtually already set out, dealing in the areas of the development of the Synoptics in relation to the Elijah-Elisha stories. It also says that a proposal related to Corinthians might also be entertained. In addition to the normal supervisors, they’ve got internationally recognized, visiting scholars coming to spend large amounts of time to add to the projects. I believe the deadline to apply is 7 May 2007. The website seems pretty scant and a little out of date. You should email Dr. Thomas Brodie (thomasbrodie@eircom.net) for more information.
